- Performing functionality, compatibility, integration, and regression testing on AisleBuyer’s multiple mobile applications
- Ensuring quality and availability of web based applications
- Creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases
- Participating in design and specification reviews
- Defining and understanding all scenarios and test cases to satisfy functional requirements for applications being tested
- Partnering with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly for rapid release iteration
- Tracking industry best practices for QA testing of mobile apps
Qualifications

- BA/BS in CS, Applied Math, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years testing commercial software including SQA experience on one or more mobile platforms

- Setting direction for and motivating the engineering team, collaborating and communicating technical design, architecture, & modeling
- Leading the entire software development life-cycle – setting priorities, delivering work and cost estimates, providing regular status reports, and consistently testing for and delivering superior product quality
- Collaborating and working closely with product managers and the executive team to expand on current product offerings
- Allocating engineering resources across projects – balancing current product innovation with new product development
- Delivering, with equal consistency, both predictable results and groundbreaking innovations
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, experience and ability preferred, but not required for the position. The ideal Software Engineer will have:
- 7+ years of relevant engineering management experience and 5+ years leading software development
- Multiple examples of successful direct leadership in design, development, delivery, support and maintenance of a large scale, high performing, reliable and robust, software applications
- Experience in a diverse range of web-based technologies including large scale mobile consumer services
- Experience in estimation of engineering efforts, implementation planning, and rollout of product deliverables
- Superior command over Java and MySQL
- Experience with Objective-C, Groovy, Grails preferable
- Expertise in mobile applications or retail technology preferred
- Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, retaining and effectively utilizing talented software developers to perform against aggressive schedules
